Advanced Mains Interference Control

The Titan Audio FFT Module V2.0 represents the next evolution of Force Field Technology — a detachable, high-performance module designed to reduce the impact of electrical noise on compatible Titan Audio mains cables.

Developed to combat both airborne and conducted interference, FFT lowers the electrical noise floor within an audio system, allowing connected components to operate with greater stability, clarity, and resolution.

Advanced Additive-Formed Composite Enclosure

For V2.0, the FFT Module introduces an entirely new enclosure, manufactured using an additive-formed engineering composite selected for its exceptional dielectric stability, internal damping, and structural neutrality.

Unlike traditional metal housings, which can act as antennas for unwanted radio-frequency energy, this advanced composite structure:

  • Minimises susceptibility to EMI and RFI, reducing the coupling of airborne interference
  • Absorbs and dissipates vibrational energy, preventing mechanical resonance from affecting sensitive internal circuitry
  • Remains electrically inert, avoiding eddy currents and secondary radiation effects associated with conductive materials

The result is a housing that functions not simply as protection, but as an active contributor to the FFT Module’s noise-reduction performance.

Refined Internal Circuit Architecture

The V2.0 FFT Module also benefits from a comprehensive redesign of its internal circuit layout. Improvements focus on reducing noise interaction and improving the consistency of the interference-control field generated by the module.

Key refinements include:

  • Optimised PCB topology to minimise loop areas and noise ingress
  • Improved grounding strategy for greater immunity to environmental interference
  • Revised filtering networks tuned to address the broad spectrum of modern RF and EM noise

These changes allow the FFT circuitry to operate in a more controlled, predictable manner, improving effectiveness under real-world electrical conditions.

Active Force Field Technology

Once connected to a compatible Titan Audio mains cable, the FFT Module uses a low-voltage external supply to actively generate a stabilised interference-reduction field around the cable conductor.

This approach goes beyond passive shielding by actively addressing the electromagnetic environment in which the cable operates — particularly beneficial in modern homes filled with wireless devices, switched-mode power supplies, and networked electronics.

Audible Performance Benefits

In use, the FFT Module V2.0 delivers improvements that are immediately apparent:

  • Lower perceived noise floor
  • Improved separation and clarity
  • More natural decay and harmonic structure
  • Reduced grain and congestion, particularly in complex passages

These benefits allow audio components to perform with greater ease and transparency, revealing more of the recorded performance.

Flexible, Transferable Design

The FFT Module V2.0 attaches directly to compatible Titan Audio power cables and can be removed or transferred at any time. This makes it ideal for system optimisation, demonstrations, or future upgrades, while its compact form ensures tidy integration into any installation.

A Further Step in Electrical Noise Control

FFT V2.0 builds on the success of the original module by combining improved materials, refined circuit design, and advanced manufacturing techniques. The result is a more effective, more stable and more future-proof solution for controlling electrical interference at the source.
